Policy

Lessons are billed monthly and payment is due on or before the first lesson of the month. Student tuition covers the time of the teacher, it does not purchase the lesson itself. Therefore missed lessons will not be made-up or refunded. Lessons may be rescheduled, with at least 48 hours notice, for another time within the same week. If you are unavailable for another time that week, or the teacher schedule does not allow rescheduling, then the lesson is a loss to the student. Make up lessons cannot take the place of regularly scheduled lessons. Cases of sickness and emergency will be rescheduled at my discretion. Unless the student is providing their own sheet music, there will be additional fees for music. Students who refer a new student who enrolls in at least one month of lessons will receive a 30 minute lesson free. Burns Music School hosts a recital twice annually and all students are encouraged to participate. Additional recital fees may be required.
